When auto-retry fires after a retryable error (e.g. overloaded_error) and the
retry response includes tool_use, session.prompt() returned prematurely because
_resolveRetry() was called on the first successful message_end — while the
agent loop was still executing tools via the fire-and-forget agent.continue().
This caused callers to observe isStreaming=true after prompt() returned, and
follow-up session.prompt() calls threw 'Agent is already processing'. The
tool execution results were silently lost.
Fix: move _resolveRetry() from the message_end handler to the agent_end
handler. The _retryAttempt counter reset stays on message_end (preventing
accumulation across LLM calls within a turn), but the promise that unblocks
waitForRetry() now only resolves when the full agent loop completes.
Reset global editor keybindings to defaults in beforeEach for
session-selector-rename and tree-selector tests. Pass
KeybindingsManager.inMemory() to SessionSelectorComponent in tests
to avoid reading user keybindings.json.

Add optional `id` field to `NewSessionOptions`. When provided, this ID
is used as the session ID instead of generating a random UUID. Existing
callers are unaffected since the field is optional and falls back to
`randomUUID()`.

Verify that newSession() uses the provided id when supplied, falls back
to randomUUID() when omitted, and includes the custom id in the session

The Anthropic compaction test was pinned to claude-3-7-sonnet-latest, which now fails with a 404 because that model line was retired. Switch the test to the existing claude-sonnet-4-5 convention used elsewhere in coding-agent tests.
* test(coding-agent): disable git prompts in HTTPS parsing test
The HTTPS URL parsing test intentionally clones a nonexistent GitHub repo to verify that bare HTTPS sources dispatch to git. Under a TTY, git can prompt on that path and hang the test run.
Set GIT_TERMINAL_PROMPT=0 in that test so it still exercises real git but fails fast instead of waiting for terminal input.
* feat(coding-agent): add fold/unfold to tree branch navigation
Remap left/right arrow keys in the session tree to jump between branch
segment starts (first child of each branching point). Left on a foldable
node (root or segment start) folds it, hiding its descendants. Right on
a folded node unfolds it. Nested fold state is preserved. Search and
filter changes reset all folds.
Folded branches show ⊞ in the connector (├⊞/└⊞) or as a prefix for
roots. Active path marker • appears after the fold indicator.
Add Page Up/Down support for paging through the tree list, consistent
with session selector and config selector.

Messages submitted while a branch summary was being generated were
processed immediately instead of being queued. This happened because
isCompacting only checked compaction abort controllers, not the branch
summary abort controller.
Include _branchSummaryAbortController in the isCompacting getter so all
existing guards (message queueing, reload blocking) also apply during
branch summarization.
createBranchedSession() wrote the file and set flushed=true even when the
branched path had no assistant message. The next _persist() call saw no
assistant, reset flushed=false, and the subsequent flush appended all
in-memory entries to the already-populated file, duplicating the header
and entries.
Fix: defer file creation when the branched path has no assistant message,
matching the newSession() contract. _persist() creates the file on the
first assistant response.
